People with Disabilities are Welcome at the Chester Mystery Plays
Visitors with disabilities (paying full adult/child rate) may admit one accompanying carer free of charge. Individuals with disabilities qualify for concession rates where available.
Please bring relevant proof of entitlement such as a blue badge, or a Disability Living Allowance letter or book (issued by the DWP benefit office).
Wheelchair spaces/facilities are available. If you have mobility issues, please use the main visitor entrance to the left of the West door on St Werburgh Street. There are disabled toilet facilities at the Cathedral.
If you have access issues or need to sit in a particular area because of sight or hearing impairments, please book your tickets in person or on the phone so that the box office team can advise you appropriately.

Blue Badge Parking Locations
Once Parked
For people using mobility equipment and parking in Kaleyards Car Park; at the northern end of the car park there is a slope up to the city walls, turn left onto the city walls, just after the bell tower, turn right onto the ramp that leads to Bell Tower Walk, and then turn right to proceed up St Werburgh Street. From Goss Street, the Crown Plaza or the Market find your way onto Northgate Street towards the Cathedral, aiming for the St Werburgh Street entrance. From Delamere Street follow tourist signs to the Cathedral.
Park & Ride
For matinée performances, there are disabled parking spaces at the Park & Ride sites at Upton (near Chester Zoo), Boughton Heath (close to A41/A55 junction), Wrexham Road and Sealand Road.
